Why this exists

A different deal for the people who do the work.

You deserve to know exactly what you've joined, without spin. Here it is.

If you remember nothing else:

  • 1Stratis does not own what you capture. You do.
  • 2Stratis does not get paid when your capture is public or used for training. You do.
  • 3You can change your mind about any of it, anytime.

If we ever stop living up to those, hold us to them.

What you make is yours

Every place you capture becomes a 3D scene that belongs to you. Stratis holds it for you and helps you do things with it, but it does not own it and cannot take it.

Stratis doesn't get paid off your work

When your scene is made public, Stratis earns nothing. When your scene helps train a model, Stratis earns nothing. The value flows to you.

Stratis is the legal wrapper. The real engine is a DAO — a community that owns the project and runs it together. The network's success belongs to the people in the network.

Why there's a company at all

Governments need taxes paid, banks need a real entity, partners need someone to sign with. Stratis exists to be that, and nothing more — the paperwork around the real thing.

Capitalism 2.0, if you want a name

People generate value; usually a few owners keep it. Our bet is you can flip that — pay the people who build the network, let it govern itself, and have it still work. We're proving the model as much as we're building a digital twin of the world.

No rush, no obligation. But if a network that actually pays its people sounds worth being part of — you already are.
