Privacy Policy

Stratis is building a community-owned spatial data network. The web app, mobile app, processing systems, APIs, and related services are operated by Stratis, Inc. and its contributors, service providers, and governance participants where applicable.

We try to collect what we need to run the platform, help contributors control their work, keep the network safe, and make the system better.

Depending on how you use Stratis, we may collect:

• Account information such as your name, email address, sign-in provider, and profile settings.
• Capture content such as video, images, camera data, location data, motion data, depth data, files you upload, and generated 3D outputs.
• Ownership, claim, reward, API, wallet, and governance activity connected to your account or public address.
• Device, browser, app, network, diagnostics, processing logs, and security information.
• Messages or support requests you send us.

We use information to operate Stratis, including to:

• Create accounts, authenticate users, and protect access.
• Process captures into point clouds, splats, meshes, previews, measurements, and related outputs.
• Attribute contributions, manage claims, calculate rewards, and support community governance.
• Power maps, viewers, sharing links, APIs, exports, and other product features.
• Detect abuse, debug issues, improve quality, and maintain platform reliability.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We use Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics only in regions where we allow basic analytics. We do not load web analytics for visitors identified as being in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, or nearby privacy-restricted regions. If our hosting provider does not provide a country signal, we treat the visit as an allowed region and still honor Global Privacy Control and your local opt-out choice. The mobile app checks our analytics-region endpoint before enabling Firebase Analytics.

When analytics is allowed, we use it to understand which pages are useful, which devices have problems, where people found Stratis, whether account creation worked, how long pages are useful, where client errors occur, and which capture workflows need improvement. We do not use Google Signals, remarketing, or ad personalization. When you are signed in, we may use your Firebase account ID as an analytics user ID so we can understand account-level product health across sessions; we do not send Google your email address, name, capture files, wallet address, or raw location track as analytics data.

We may share information in the following limited ways:

• With infrastructure providers that help us host, authenticate, store, process, secure, and deliver the service.
• With viewers, API users, buyers, or partners when you publish content, use sharing features, or make data available through Stratis products.
• With DAO, governance, wallet, or ledger systems when those features are part of the action you take.
• With law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when we believe disclosure is legally required or needed to protect people, property, or the platform.
• In connection with a merger, financing, restructuring, acquisition, or transfer involving all or part of the project or company.

Authorized Stratis and Ademero employees may explicitly request a text update for a specific internal support assignment. For this program, we process the employee's verified phone number, the consent request, the requested notification purpose, the message content, and delivery or opt-out status.

We use this information only to deliver the operational alert the employee requested, maintain an audit record, honor HELP and STOP requests, prevent unwanted messages, and troubleshoot delivery. We do not use Staff Alert enrollment or phone numbers for marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share SMS consent or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We may provide the minimum information needed to communications and infrastructure providers, such as Twilio, acting on our behalf to deliver and secure the messages. Those providers may use the information only to perform those services. Reply STOP to opt out of future Staff Alert messages, or contact legal@stratis.ai for help or a privacy request.

You can update account settings in the app, choose how captures are shared where controls are available, use browser privacy controls, turn analytics off for this browser, or ask us to help with access, correction, export, or deletion.

Some records may be difficult or impossible to fully remove, such as public blockchain records, data already used in generated outputs, backups, fraud-prevention logs, and records we need to keep for legal or security reasons.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain contribution attribution, support claims and rewards, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect the platform. Retention may differ by data type and product setting.

Stratis is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the type of service we run. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please use strong credentials and tell us quickly if you believe your account or data has been affected.
